Are you passionate about South Park? Are you inspired by the heritage and history of our unique landscape? Awed by the beauty of our natural resources and majesty of our mountains? If so, consider becoming a board member of the South park national Heritage Area (SPNHA).

The mission of the SPNHA is to conserve and enhance South Park’s natural, cultural, and recreational resources; to facilitate partnerships between local, regional, and national organizations that will benefit South Park; and to provide responsible interpretation of, access to, and education of South Park’s resources to the public.

SPNHA partners with the National Park Service but is a locally directed organization driven by people like you: preserving our heritage and natural beauty.

Being a Board member of the SPNHA is a great way to make a real difference in your community.

If you are interested in learning more about the SPNHA or becoming an active participant in this vital organization please visit: https://southparkheritage.org/

or contact our Executive Director.

Residents and property owners are encouraged to apply but you do not need to be a resident of Park County to join our Board: just be passionate about where you play!
