Park County Public Health Announces Additional Vaccine Clinics

Park County, Colo. – Park County Public Health is pleased to announce additional options for residents 18 and older to get the Johnson & Johnson vaccine in Fairplay and Bailey this month. The new clinics are in addition to the Mobile Vaccine Bus that hosts weekly COVID19 vaccine clinics in three locations across Park county with the Pfizer vaccine. Walk-ins welcome at all sites but appointments are encouraged.

“Park County had 33 new COVID19 cases last week so we are not out of the woods yet,” said Lynn Ramey, Director, Park County Public Health. “Getting vaccinated will help keep you, your family, and others healthy and safe,” added Ramey.

Appointments and walk-ins welcomed at the following Johnson and Johnson clinics, 18 and older only:

Wednesday, June 2 - Fairplay Park County Public Health Office, 825 Clark Street Fairplay, CO 80440 from 12 – 2 PM.
Wednesday, June 9 - Bailey Park County Public Health Office, 82 Main Street Bailey, CO 80420 (note new location!) from 12 – 2 PM.
Friday, June 11 - Fairplay - South Park High School, 640 Hathaway St, Fairplay, CO 80440, hosted by Summit Community Care Clinic from 10 - 11 AM.

Ongoing Mobile Van Route for anyone 12 and older:

Bailey Area – St. Mary of the Rockies, 236 Bulldogger Road Bailey CO 80421. Every Thursday from Noon – 6 PM.
Lake George Area, Lake George Fire Protection District, 8951 County Road 90, Lake George, CO 80827. Saturday, June 5, from 9 – 11 AM and Saturday, June 19, from 9 – 11 AM.
Guffey Area - Southern Park County Fire Protection District at 1745 County Road 102, Guffey, CO 80820. Saturday, June 5 from 3 – 5 PM and Saturday, June 19 from 3 – 5 PM.

Registration and details for all vaccine clinics can be found here: Vaccine Resources | Park County, CO. Park County Public Health continues to encourage everyone who is eligible for COVID-19 vaccines to get vaccinated as soon as possible.

The CDC also recently updated its mask guidance for fully vaccinated individuals based on growing evidence that COVID-19 vaccines are effective at preventing COVID-19 disease, especially severe illness and death.
