The Thorp Fire is a wild land fire of approximately 83 acres. Mandatory evacuations are in effect for campers off of County Road 31 and nearby forest service roads. Mandatory evacuations are also in effect for residents of Webber Park Subdivision. The Lake George Community Center at 29141 US Hwy 24 in Lake George will be opened as an evacuation information center for Webber Park Subdivision residents.
