The 64 Alfa Fire, in the vicinity of Glenn Isle Resort, is holding at approximately 12 acres with 50% containment at this time. Residents on Payne Gulch Road and Happy Top Trail remain under mandatory evacuation until 100% containment is reached. The Shawnee VFW shelter location is closed. Residents in need of shelter should contact the Salvation Army at 719-838-0140. Pre-evacuation of Brookside and Payne Gulch Trailhead remain in effect. Fire updates are also available at 719-836-4200.
