Walter Ryan

Update:On July 11, 2016, at 8:12pm, the body of Walter Ryan was located on private land near the top of Crow Hill. The Park County Sheriff s Office as well as the Park County Coroner's Office is investigating the scene.At this time there is no evidence of foul play. The Park County Sheriff s Office would like to thank the Deputies, Search and Rescue members, numerous volunteers and family members who helped to search for Mr. Ryan. The Park County Sheriff s Office would also like to pass along our condolences to the Ryan family during this difficult time.

Previous:At 9:25am on Friday July 8, Walter Ryan age 72 left his residence in Burland Ranchettes in Bailey, Colorado and drove to the top of Crow Hill. Walter then walked away from the vehicle in an unknown direction, possibly in possession of a .357 handgun and a cat.
Walter is a white male, 5' 11" and 180 pounds; he has grey hair and blue eyes. Walter has Alzheimer's and does not have his wallet or his cell phone with him.
