Health First Colorado and Child Health Plan Plus (CHP+)
Health First Colorado offers health coverage for qualifying children, pregnant women and families. Health First Colorado also provides coverage for dental care for children and adults. Child Health Plan Plus (CHP+) offers health and dental care coverage for uninsured Colorado children and youth.
CHP+ also offers health care for pregnant women that do not qualify for Health First Colorado. For more information about enrolling or information about participating dentists and doctors for Health First Colorado or CHP+ contact our Family Health Coordinator at (303) 816-5943.
Applications for these programs are available at Park County Department of Human Services and online.
Enrollment can also be done online at Colorado PEAK. Computers to use for enrolling in these programs are available at the Park County public libraries if needed.
Connect for Colorado is the state's marketplace for health insurance. There are tools that allow customers to easily compare plans and prices from multiple insurance companies and search for preferred providers and medications and many other options.
