Emergency Plowing Guidelines
In emergency situations,
plowing may be provided to access homes or citizens. If a
citizen has an emergency, they should call 911 for assistance.
Emergency plowing will only be provided once an emergency has
been verified and at the discretion of the jurisdictional
authority (Fire, EMS or Law Enforcement).
If resources are requested to
respond to a residence and the road was plowed to get there, the
citizen will be responsible to pay for all costs if it is
determined that no emergency exists. If you have questions about
routine plowing procedures, please contact Road and Bridge at
(719) 836-4282.
