Responsibilities
The Park County Building Department handles all building permits and building
inspections for all construction projects and anything that has to do with
building for all of Park County with the exceptions of the Town of
Fairplay and the Town of Alma, including:
- New construction
- Remodels / repairs
- Roofing
- Mechanical
- Demolition

County Hazard Mitigation Plan Update
Park County is in the process of updating the County’s Hazard Mitigation Plan.
Community input and involvement is instrumental in the development of a
mitigation plan update that truly reflects the perceptions and needs of Park
County residents.
